The Orange Journal is an international, open-access scientific publication issued biannually in electronic format. It is dedicated to the dissemination of research and intellectual output in the fields of Natural and Exact Sciences and Health Sciences, with a distinctive emphasis on pharmacology, traditional medicine, and pharmaceutical chemistry.

Manuscripts submitted to the Journal should be products of research, review and reflection that can be submitted in Spanish, English or Portuguese, for subsequent peer review.

We are committed to accessibility, offering our contents in open access format, which allows a wide distribution and visibility at a global level. We believe that multidisciplinarity is the best representation of knowledge, since the wealth of knowledge is essential to generate a positive impact on society.

Scope

Orange Journal specializes in publishing cutting-edge original research, in-depth reviews and case studies that explore the dynamic intersection between the Natural and Exact Sciences and the Health Sciences, with a distinctive emphasis on pharmacology, traditional medicine and pharmaceutical chemistry. We also welcome relevant contributions in the areas of Environmental Education and Culture that link in a meaningful way with our core areas.

We focus on studies that rigorously integrate diverse perspectives and methodologies, including experimental, theoretical, computational and ethnobotanical approaches, with the aim of generating new ideas, validating ancestral knowledge and proposing innovative solutions to complex contemporary issues in health, drug development and natural resource conservation.
